Junior Golf                           

Quit-Qui-Oc Golf Club has always been committed to developing the game of golf through it's Junior Golf Program.  This program offers youngsters an affordable opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the golf swing while also learning the rules, etiquette and history of this great game.

The Junior Lesson Program is a five week program that teaches the game through group and individual instruction, contests and games, and on-course instruction and application.

2012 Junior Golf Program

Thursday Mornings beginning June 14th
Glacial Nine Driving Range
Cost - $40 for one child, $75 for two children, $90 for three children (must be from the same family)

Session 1 - 8:00am-10:30am
Ages 12 and up (approximate)
45 minutes of instruction followed by on course play

Session 2 - 9:00am-10:30am
Ages 8-11 (approximate)
30-45 minutes of instruction followed by on course experiences and/or games

June 14th - Posture, grip, & aim
June 21st - Full swing
June 28th - Putting/chipping
July 5th - No Lessons - Happy 4th of July
July 12th - Pitching
July 19th - Full Swing

Junior Golf League

The purpose of the Junior Golf League is to give young players the opportunity to meet and play with other players of similar age and ability levels.  This league is open to all students entering 7 through 12 grades, who can break 60 for nine holes, demonstrate proper golf etiquette, and can keep up with play.  All play will be nine holes on the front nine on Tuesday afternoons. 

League begins June 19th
League costs:     $10 for Junior Members and $20 for non-members.  This fee includes green fees for all league days.

Junior Tournament - New this year!
Wednesday, June 20th
Tee times begin @ 9:00am off #1

The Junior Tournament will be flighted by both age and gender, have an 18-hole and 9-hole division, and limited to the first 60 players to register.

Cost - 18 hole division $25, 9-hole division $20.
Entry fee includes:
*Green fees                                      *Range balls before round
*Lunch after golf                              *Trophies and awards

Junior Golf Camp
June 25th-June 28th, 2012
Glacial Nine
$95 per student, limited tot he first 15 juniors

This camp will focus on the fundamentals of the swing, putting, chipping, pitching, rules and etiquette.  Juniors will play each day and have a 9-hole event on Thursday.  Event format to be determined. 

Camp Schedule - Monday -Wednesday
1:00pm-2:00pm - Instruction
2:00pm-2:30pm - Skills contests
2:30-4:00pm - Play on the Glacial Nine - May not finish 9 holes
